Background
The Division of Forestry has identified the Society of American Foresters (SAF) as a key partner in enhancing recruitment and retention efforts for prospective future employees. The goal of this contract is to establish a sponsorship that will facilitate connections with current Forestry students and young professionals, many of whom are SAF members.

By sponsoring and attending the SAF National Convention, the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) aims to engage with over 2,000 attendees, including 24% students, to improve staffing and provide services to the Tribes. The SAF is uniquely positioned to offer these outreach services due to its specialized expertise and focus on forestry professionals.

Work Details
The contractor will provide sponsorship for the SAF National Convention, which includes attending the event to connect with attendees. The primary tasks include:
- Engaging with prospective employees at the convention to enhance recruitment efforts.
- Facilitating networking opportunities between BIA representatives and forestry students/young professionals.
- Leveraging SAF's unique position as an organization dedicated to representing forestry professionals to advocate for sustainable forest management policies.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed in conjunction with the SAF 2025 National Convention, expected around that event timeframe.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the location of the SAF 2025 National Convention.
