Title: Quality Control of the Crash Injury Research and Engineering Network (CIREN)

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposal for Quality Control (QC) of crashes investigated by the participants in the Crash Injury Research and Engineering Network (CIREN) in accordance with Section C of the RFP.

Background
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Quality Control (QC) of crashes investigated by the participants in the Crash Injury Research and Engineering Network (CIREN). The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals for QC of crashes investigated by the participants in CIREN.

Work Details
The Contractor shall furnish all the facilities, materials, information, and personnel necessary to provide NHTSA with services for quality control (QC) of crashes investigated by the participants in CIREN. The contract involves detailed case content review, interaction with CIREN Centers, identifying problems and training needs, development and enhancement of automated error checking, software and data system review, and support for public release of data.

Period of Performance
Delivery is scheduled for 09/08/2023. The contract includes a base year and four option years for a total period of five years.

Place of Performance
The contract work will be performed at DOT/NHTSA, 1200 New Jersey Ave SE, Washington DC 20590 USA.
