QQQA RCAG HVAC Replacement Project in Barstow, CA

Background
This site currently has two 4-ton split unit R-22 HVAC systems. One unit is the original unit from 1985 and a second unit was later installed to replace an original unit. Both units use outdated R-22 refrigerants and must be replaced with R-410 or accepted equivalent. There is an existing concrete pad for each condenser.
Site is in the sandy hills southeast of Barstow, CA and requires a 4x4 vehicle to reach the facility.

Work Details
Furnish all labor, equipment, and materials to accomplish the following:
Demolition:
1. Remove two each – four ton split system condensing units and air handling units, including associated electrical, controls, refrigerant piping, condensate piping, supply air plenum, and stand.
Installation:
1. Provide two each – four ton split system condensing units and air handling units, including associated electrical, controls, refrigerant piping, condensate piping, supply air plenum, and stand.
2. Provide the following:
a. 5 sets of spare filters (Farr 30/30 or equal) per air conditioning unit installed
b. 1 spare sets of fuses for each fused disconnect
Only one air conditioning split system may be replaced at a time; one split system air conditioner must remain fully operational at all times to maintain space temperature set point.
The air conditioning systems specified herein and shown on the drawings must be complete, functional, and operational in all respects.
