Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 5, is issuing a Notice of Intent to Sole Source for the QGenda Scheduling Software. This contract aims to set up and integrate the QGenda Scheduling System within the Anesthesiology care line at the Baltimore VA Medical Center (VAMC). The goal is to meet the scheduling needs of multiple staff operating 24/7/365, ensuring effective coverage and management of scheduling requests.

Work Details
The contractor will provide the following services:
1. Set-up and integration of the QGenda Scheduling System tailored for the Anesthesiology Care Clinical Center at Baltimore VAMC.
2. Provide an internet-based scheduling system that accommodates diverse scheduling input rules and guidelines, allowing for manual and automated schedules, customizable views, online requests, shift trades, and productivity reporting.
3. Minimize administrative time in creating a 365/24/7 schedule.
4. Generate auto and manual scheduling forms.
5. Schedule providers at multiple locations inside the hospital.
6. Develop scheduling rules for managing requests and balancing workload.
7. Build configurable reports including tally of shifts worked and productivity templates.
8. Simplify and automate administrative processing time while accommodating varied staff duty tours (full-time, part-time, intermittent).
9. Ensure no patient identifiable data is stored; only basic employee information (first name, last name, telephone contact number, shift schedule) will be retained.
10. Provide live metrics and productivity reports with varied viewing options including monthly, quarterly, yearly formats.
11. Ensure help desk accessibility with standard support hours from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and after-hours support as specified.
12. Conduct one onsite training session for users at the facility.
