Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing a solicitation for Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Services under the VISN 9 network. The mission of the VA is to provide high-quality healthcare services to veterans. This contract aims to ensure that veterans have access to necessary medical equipment that enhances their quality of life. The goal of this contract is to provide comprehensive DME services, including delivery, setup, maintenance, and emergency support for veterans across various medical centers in the VISN 9 area.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Services as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW). Responsibilities include:

1. Scheduling delivery or pickup appointments with veterans or their caregivers.
2. Storage, delivery, assembly, setup, installation, and adjustment of DME.
3. Reclaiming DME which includes disassembly and pickup.
4. Providing instructions for use, care, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of DME.
5. Completing delivery notices.
6. Performing repair and maintenance services on DME at the contractor’s facility or at the patient’s home during normal business hours.
7. Responding to emergency service requests outside normal business hours as specified in emergency procedures.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract will be from October 1, 2025 through September 30, 2030.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various locations including Lexington VAMC (Lexington, KY), Louisville VAMC (Louisville, KY), Memphis VAMC (Memphis, TN), Mountain Home VAMC (Mountain Home, TN), and TVHS VAMCs (Nashville, TN and Murfreesboro, TN).
