Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to award a contract for Radiology Physician Services at the Sioux Falls VA Health Care System. The goal of this contract is to provide comprehensive radiology services, including both onsite and offsite teleradiology services, to meet the needs of veterans receiving care at this facility.

The contract will have a five-year ordering period from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2031.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide Board Certified Radiology Physician Services that include: interpretations of general radiology, fluoroscopic procedures, neuroradiology, musculoskeletal imaging, general nuclear medicine and SPECT/CT, computed tomography (CT), CT angiography, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), MRI angiography, ultrasound, and bone densitometry.

Services must adhere to standards set by the American College of Radiology (ACR). The contractor is required to furnish 1.0 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) Board Certified Radiologist and 0.2 FTE Acting Chief of Radiology services at the Sioux Falls VA Health Care System located at 2501 W. 22nd Street, Sioux Falls, SD 57105. The contractor will also be responsible for maintaining compliance with various VA directives and policies related to healthcare resources contracting.

The period of performance for this contract will be from August 1, 2026, through July 31, 2031.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must ensure that all physicians assigned to perform services under this contract have a current license to practice medicine in any U.S. state or territory. All key personnel must hold full and unrestricted licenses without any restrictions or suspensions. Additionally, all contractor physicians must be Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology or the American Board of Nuclear Medicine and maintain their certification through ongoing education.

The contractor must also ensure compliance with credentialing and privileging requirements as outlined in VHA Directive 1100.20 and VHA Directive 1100.21.
