Background
The Overton Brooks VA Medical Center, located in Shreveport, LA, is seeking to procure on-site Mobile Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Services, Trailer, and Equipment. This contract aims to ensure that the medical center can provide essential MRI services to veterans in compliance with established standards and guidelines.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide MRI services on-site at the Overton Brooks Medical Center. The vendor must supply a mobile MRI unit with staffing available 7 days a week for a base period of 12 months, with four optional 12-month extensions. Services must meet or exceed the standards set by The Joint Commission (TJC). Key responsibilities include:
- Providing operational MRI services starting no later than October 1, 2025.
- Staffing requirements include three MRI Certified Technologists, two Tech Assistants (Transporters), and two Schedulers.
- Ensuring patient safety by reporting incidents within 24 hours.
- Responding to equipment downtime within one hour and having a technician on-site within 24 hours.
- Maintaining compliance with various VA directives related to radiology and patient information privacy.
- Transporting the MRI unit safely and managing all maintenance and upgrades of the equipment.
- Ensuring connectivity for data transfer to various systems including Philips VUE PACs and VISTA Imaging.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on October 1, 2025, and will run through September 30, 2030, with options for extension.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center located at 510 E. Stoner Ave., Shreveport, LA 71101.
