Mobile MRI Unit Base plus 4- Amendment   4

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the VISN 7 Network Contracting Activity, is issuing this solicitation amendment for a Mobile MRI Unit. The goal of this contract is to procure a mobile MRI unit that meets specific requirements to support the healthcare services provided by the VA.

Work Details
The contract includes the following tasks and specifications:

1. The purpose of this RFQ Amendment is to answer all questions submitted regarding the Mobile MRI Unit.

2. All quotes are due by April 10, 2026, at 12 PM EST.

3. The Base Year for the contract is from June 26, 2026, to June 25, 2027, with four option years extending through June 25, 2031.

4. The mobile unit must not require a fire suppression system but must include an MRI safe fire extinguisher (SOW paragraph 6.5 and 6.6).

5. A dressing room is not required; however, if present, it must meet ADA standards (SOW paragraph 6.6).

6. The detachable table must conform to specifications outlined in SOW paragraph 3.2.A; alternatives like an MRI Trolley will not be accepted.

7. The mobile unit does not need a Hot Lab or patient injecting area as these will be addressed inside the Radiology Department.

Period of Performance
Base Year: June 26, 2026 - June 25, 2027; Option Year 1: June 26, 2027 - June 25, 2028; Option Year 2: June 26, 2028 - June 25, 2029; Option Year 3: June 26, 2029 - June 25, 2030; Option Year 4: June 26, 2030 - June 25, 2031.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at locations designated by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
