Mobile MRI Services Iron Mountain VAMC 1 year base period 1 year option   4

Contractor shall provide all management, labor, equipment, supplies, tools, and maintenance and repair of all Contractor furnished equipment (including the mobile trailer/scanner necessary to perform mobile Magnetic Resonance Imaging Services (MRI) at the Oscar G. Johnson VAMC (Iron Mountain VAMC) located at 325 East H Street, Iron Mountain, MI 49801. The resultant contract will be an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract. The anticipated period of performance is October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2025, with one-year option period, to extend through September 30, 2026.

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing this solicitation to procure mobile Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) services for the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center located in Iron Mountain, MI. The goal of this contract is to provide comprehensive MRI services, ensuring that veterans receive timely and high-quality medical imaging as part of their healthcare. This procurement is specifically set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB).

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all management, labor, equipment, supplies, tools, and maintenance and repair of all contractor-furnished equipment necessary to perform mobile MRI services at the Iron Mountain VAMC. Key tasks include:

1. Providing a mobile MRI unit that meets FDA standards and is compatible with VA systems.
2. Ensuring the mobile unit operates a minimum of ten hours per day on scheduled service days, excluding federal holidays.
3. Performing maintenance and repairs on the MRI equipment to maintain a minimum 95% uptime performance rate.
4. Providing at least two ARRT Certified MRI Technologists for each service day.
5. Administering IV contrast materials as required for certain scans and ensuring proper handling and disposal of medical supplies.
6. Maintaining compliance with all applicable local, state, federal regulations and standards related to medical imaging services.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance is from October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2025, with an option to extend for one additional year through September 30, 2026.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center located at 325 East H Street, Iron Mountain, MI 49801.
