Description

RFQ Description Notice Network Contracting Office 02, has posted Request for Quote (RFQ) 36C24223Q0017 for one (1) Full time Equivalent (FTE), 2,080 hours including on-call services for Interventional Radiologist to perform on behalf of the Department of Veterans Affairs New Jersey Healthcare System, East Orange VAMC. Contracting has been approved to solicit full and open unrestrictive in the open market using Far Part 12 and 13. The government intends to award to IDIQ, fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. On-call hours will be during all hours when the VAMC Clinic is closed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The contractor will be required to have at a minimum of four (4) IR Physicians credentialed and privileged for the duration of the contract and live within the geographical location from East Orange VAMC in order to meet the need of any IR emergencies call back time within sixty minutes. The estimated total period of performance is July 01, 2023 (or date of award) through June 30, 2028. The period of Performance is one base period, with four (4) one (1) option periods if offered at the discretion of the Government. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the offer submission process. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award; contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov. The applicable NAICS Code is 621111 / size $14M. The PSC is Q522. All offerors are responsible for downloading all documents including amendments at the Federal Business Opportunities website without further notification from the Contracting Officer. Place of Performance: Department of Veterans Affairs East Orange VAMC 385 Tremont Ave. East Orange New Jersey 07018-1023 General Description of Services: Pursuant to 38 U.S.C. 8153, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) intends to enter into a single, Fixed price IDIQ contract for Interventional Radiology services for New Jersey Healthcare System East Orange VAMC. The contractor agrees to provide non-personal Healthcare Resources in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement, to furnish at the Department of Veterans Affairs, East Orange VA Medical Center. The contractor s physician(s) care shall cover the range of Interventional Radiology (IR) services as would be provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility and the standard of care shall be of a quality, meeting or exceeding currently recognized national standards as established by: College of Radiology Guidelines http://www.acr.org/Quality-Safety/Standards-Guidelines/Practice-Guidelines-by-Modality/Interventional Scope of Care: Contract physician(s) shall be responsible for providing Interventional Radiology procedures, including, but not limited: Angiography/Venography Cryoablation Balloon angioplasty/stent placement Vascular access procedures Chemoembolization IVC filters Cholecystostomy Kyphoplasty Abscess Drainage Nephrostomy placement Embolization Radiologically inserted gastrostomy Thrombolysis Dialysis access & related interventions Biopsy TIPS placement Radiofrequency/Microwave ablation Y90 Radioembolization Biliary intervention IVC Filter Placement Clarifications related to this posting will be accepted through 02/23/2023. Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has issued a Request for Quote (RFQ) for Interventional Radiology services for New Jersey Healthcare System, East Orange VAMC. The contract is intended to provide non-personal Healthcare Resources in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement.

Work Details
