HCR - Long Term Contract for Interventional Radiology Physician Services - James J. Peters (JJP) Medical Center - Bronx VAMC   2

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing this solicitation for non-personnel healthcare services to provide on-site Board Certified/Eligible Interventional Radiology Physician services at the James J. Peters Medical Center (Bronx VAMC). The goal of this contract is to ensure that eligible beneficiaries receive high-quality interventional radiology services in accordance with established standards and guidelines set forth by the American College of Radiology (ACR). This requirement is specifically set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) vendors.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all personnel necessary to perform Board Certified/Board Eligible Interventional Radiology Physician services, which include but are not limited to:

- Angiography
- Cryoblation
- Balloon angioplasty/stent placement
- Line insertion
- Chemoembolization
- IVC filters
- Cholecystostomy
- Nephrostomy placement
- Embolization
- Gastrostomy
- Thrombolysis
- Dialysis access & related interventions
- Biopsy
- TIPS placement
- Radiofrequency ablation/Microwave ablation
- Biliary intervention
- Y90 Radioembolization.

The contractor's physicians must be available on-call during all hours when the E. Orange VAMC Interventional Radiology Section is closed. The contractor will also participate in quality improvement meetings and comply with VA policies regarding patient care and safety. The contractor's physician(s) must maintain current licensure and board certification throughout the contract period.

Period of Performance
The contract will consist of one base year with four one-year option periods. The base year is expected to begin on September 15, 2025 and end on September 14, 2026.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed on-site at the James J. Peters Medical Center located at 130 West Kingsbridge Road Bronx, NY 10468.
