Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing a sole source contract for Teleradiology Physician Services under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. The goal of this contract is to provide urgent diagnostic imaging services to beneficiaries of the VA and the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS). This action is justified due to unusual and compelling urgency, necessitating immediate access to specialized teleradiology services.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide board certified Radiology Physician services as specified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Responsibilities include: conducting General Radiologic Procedures (Plain Film, X-ray), Computed Tomography Scans (CT/CTA), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI/MRA), Nuclear Medicine (NM), and Ultrasound (US) including Vascular Ultrasound exams. Services must comply with standards set by the American College of Radiology (ACR) and The Joint Commission (TJC). Contract physicians are required to be available Monday through Friday from 16:30 to 08:00, and 24 hours on weekends. The contractor's physicians are expected to interpret approximately 7,855 radiologic exams during the contract period, with services provided off-site at the contractor's location.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from July 1, 2025, through December 31, 2025.

Place of Performance
Services will be provided off-site at the contractor's location.
