41 FTE Radiology Service Technologists (DRT & MIT) for VAPAHCS Satellite and CBOCs (RFP AMENDMENT #3)   6

Background
The solicitation is for the provision of 41.0 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) Radiology Technologists to perform services at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System, including satellite locations and Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs). The contract will establish a Fixed-Price with Economic Price Adjustment (FP-EPA) for a range of radiology imaging care services for inpatient and outpatient VA patients, including call shift coverage for afterhours emergent procedures.

Work Details
The contract includes the provision of 41.0 FTE Radiology Technologists specialized in various modalities such as Interventional Radiology, Computed Tomography, Ultrasound, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Mammography, and General Radiography. The services encompass a full range of radiology imaging care for inpatient and outpatient VA patients, including call shift coverage for afterhours emergent procedures. The contract also specifies pricing instructions and outlines the process for requesting an Economic Price Adjustment (EPA).

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the base year is from August 01, 2023, to July 31, 2024. Option Year One spans from August 01, 2024, to July 31, 2025. Option Year Two covers the period from August 01, 2025, to July 31, 2026.

Place of Performance
Services shall be provided on site at VA Palo Alto Health Care System, Radiology Service in Palo Alto, CA as well as at other divisions in Livermore and Menlo Park. Additionally, services will be performed at VAPAHCS Community Base Year Outpatient Clinics (CBOC) located in San Jose and Monterey.
