Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 23, is seeking contractors to provide Virtual Pharmacy Services for multiple Veterans Affairs Medical Centers (VAMCs).

The goal of this contract is to ensure safe and appropriate medication processing through remote pharmacy services, which will include professional reviews and problem-solving for medication orders. This contract is part of the agency's mission to deliver quality healthcare services to veterans.

Work Details
The contractor will provide Virtual Pharmacy Services that include:
1. Professional review of medication orders for patients using remote methods.
2. No on-site pharmacy personnel will be required.
3. Services will be ordered via Task Orders for each participating facility.
4. The contractor must ensure compliance with VA policies and standards, including the VA Directive 1663 and VHA Handbook 1907.01 regarding health information management.
5. The contractor's pharmacists must have current licenses to practice pharmacy and be proficient in using VISTA and CPRS systems for processing orders.

Period of Performance
The contract period is from May 1, 2026, to April 30, 2027, with four additional option years extending through April 30, 2031.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed remotely for the following locations: Black Hills VAHCS in Fort Meade, SD; Fargo VAHCS in Fargo, ND; St. Cloud VAHCS in St. Cloud, MN; and Sioux Falls VAHCS in Sioux Falls, SD.
