Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing this solicitation under the authority of title 38 U.S.C. 8153 for non-personal services to provide On-Site/Off-Site Pathology Services for the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center located in Wichita, Kansas.

The goal of this contract is to establish an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) firm fixed price contract to ensure that eligible beneficiaries receive comprehensive pathology services that meet or exceed national standards.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all personnel necessary to perform off-site and on-site Pathology/Pathologist Services. The required services include:
- Comprehensive pathological evaluations and interpretations
- Professional, technical and/or global components of surgical, anatomic, and cytology specimens
- On-site back-up coverage/co-review support of Pathology services
- Compliance with all applicable policies and regulations.

The contractor must provide a range of pathology services including lab testing, board-certified pathologist physician services, and ensure timely reporting and documentation as per the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The contractor will not be compensated for on-call services but will be compensated for call-back services that are actually performed. The contract includes provisions for updates to pricing based on Medicare rates during option periods, and the contractor must maintain credentialing and privileging standards as outlined by the VA.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026, with four one-year option periods available if authorized by the contracting officer.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center located at 5500 E. Kellogg Ave, Wichita, KS 67218, as well as off-site at the contractor's premises or within their network of laboratories.
