Onsite Orthopedic Surgery Services for the Oklahoma City VA   3

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing a solicitation for onsite orthopedic surgery services at the Oklahoma City VA Health Care System (OKCVAHCS). The goal of this contract is to provide comprehensive orthopedic care to eligible beneficiaries, ensuring that the services meet or exceed national standards established by recognized medical authorities. This requirement is part of the VA's commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare to veterans.

Work Details
The contractor will provide Board Certified or Board Eligible Orthopedic Physician Services, including but not limited to: clinic coverage, surgical coverage, remote consultations, on-site consultations, and emergent surgical services in the operating room.

The contractor must furnish two full-time equivalent General Orthopedic Surgeons with experience in arthroplasty and fracture/trauma care. Services must be provided onsite at the OKC VAHCS and must adhere to standards set by the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and other relevant bodies. The contractor is responsible for ensuring that all personnel are credentialed and privileged according to VA guidelines. Additionally, the contractor must maintain compliance with various VA directives related to healthcare delivery.
