STX - Perfusionist Services, San Antonio, TX   2

Background
The South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STXVHCS) has a requirement for Perfusion/Autotransfusion and conduit harvesting services, as well as on-call and emergency callback coverage on-site at the Audie L. Murphy VA Medical Center. This contract is issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs, which aims to provide high-quality healthcare services to eligible beneficiaries. The goal of this contract is to ensure that perfusion services are available in a timely manner, meeting or exceeding national standards established by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all key personnel to provide onsite Perfusion/Autotransfusion Services. Services include:

1. Certified Clinical Perfusionist and Autotransfusion Technician services.
2. On-call coverage during weekdays and weekends.
3. Compliance with national standards for perfusion services as established by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion.
4. Credentialing and privileging of personnel prior to providing services.
5. Maintenance of medical records in accordance with VA policies and regulations.
6. Participation in quality improvement initiatives and reporting as requested by the VA.
7. Adherence to training requirements including ACLS, BLS, and other mandatory courses defined by the VA.

Period of Performance
Base Year: October 1, 2025 to September 30, 2026;
Option Year One: October 1, 2026 to September 30, 2027;
Option Year Two: October 1, 2027 to September 30, 2028;
Option Year Three: October 1, 2028 to September 30, 2029;
Option Year Four: October 1, 2029 to September 30, 2030.
