Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center (VAMC), is seeking a contractor to provide remote cardiac monitoring services and equipment. This initiative aims to enhance patient care for designated beneficiaries of the VAMC and its associated Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs).

The contract will be structured as a Firm-Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) agreement, which includes a base period of performance plus four option periods, ensuring continuity of service for cardiac event monitoring.

Work Details
The contractor is required to deliver comprehensive cardiac event monitoring services, which include:
1. Providing all necessary equipment and supplies for remote cardiac monitoring for an average of 14 to 20 patients per month.
2. Monitoring cardiac arrhythmias with capabilities for multiple event looping and immediate notification to on-call cardiology physicians at the VAMC.
3. Delivering mobile cardiac monitors that are wireless, capable of continuous monitoring, and equipped with features such as ECG transmission recording, water resistance, hypoallergenic materials, and a battery life exceeding seven days.
4. Ensuring availability of at least 10 monitors in stock at the VAMC at all times.
5. Providing comprehensive reports within 3-5 business days post-monitoring that detail procedure rates, arrhythmia summaries, and whether recordings were patient-triggered or automated.
6. Offering 24/7 service availability throughout the year, including training for designated personnel on device usage.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a base period of 12 months with four additional option periods of 12 months each, allowing for a total potential performance duration of up to five years.

The primary location for performance will be the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center located at 5500 E. Kellogg Drive, Wichita, KS 67218-1607.
