Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing a solicitation for perfusion services to support the Minneapolis VA Health Care System (MVAHCS). Work Details
The contractor shall provide Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) Perfusion Services on-site, on-call, and for call-back as needed. Services are required daily from Monday through Friday, with one key personnel member on-site 52 weeks per year, excluding federal holidays.

The perfusionists must be board-certified and possess at least ten years of experience in clinical perfusion services, particularly in cardiac bypass surgery. They should also have completed an accredited Allied Health Education Program School of Perfusion Technology and demonstrate proficiency in various areas including open-heart surgery, autotransfusion, and operation of ventricular assist devices.

The contractor must comply with multiple VA directives and maintain high standards of care as established by relevant professional organizations.
