Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking Interventional Cardiology and Electrophysiology Physician Services to provide care to beneficiaries of the VA and the South Texas Veterans Health Care System, Audie L. Murphy VA Medical Center. The services are required under the authority of 38 U.S.C. §8153- Sharing of Health-Care Resources and VAAR 873 Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Health-Care Resources.

Work Details
The Contractor is required to provide Board Certified/Board Eligible Interventional Cardiology and Electrophysiology Physician Services on-site at the specified locations. The services include a range of cardiology services as provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility, meeting or exceeding national standards established by The American College of Cardiology (ACC). The contract type is Fixed-Price (FP), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with a base year and four option years. The estimated minimum contract amount is $10,000, and the maximum contract amount is $10,000,000.

Period of Performance
The period of performance includes a base year from January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2024, with four option years extending through December 31, 2028.
