Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to provide ambulatory cardiac monitoring services for patients of the Phoenix VA Health Care System (PVAHCS). The goal of this contract is to ensure appropriate treatment for veteran patients requiring heart analysis. The contractor will be responsible for providing 24/7 availability for data monitoring and customer support, as well as ensuring compliance with health information protection standards.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide Ambulatory EKG monitoring and data processing services, which include:
1. 24/7 availability to view acquired data for all studies.
2. Customer support available at all times.
3. Data storage capabilities when in areas without cellular reception.
4. Equipment inspection and decontamination data upon request.
5. Upgrades to the current system at no extra charge.
6. A local representative for training personnel and troubleshooting issues.
7. Provision of personal EKG monitoring recorders with options for telemetry or Holter recording as specified by care providers.
8. Repeat monitoring studies at no additional cost under certain conditions (e.g., unsatisfactory results, failure to transmit/download information).
9. Comprehensive product portfolio including telemetry devices capable of real-time data analysis, event recording, and ECG data storage.
10. Devices must allow for patient-activated events and immediate transmission of alerts.
11. Compliance with Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) 140-2.
