AMENDMENT 2 IS TO CORRECT PRIMARY POC INFORMATION FOR SUBMISSION OF QUOTES AND QUESTIONS. ALL SUBMISSIONS SHOULD BE MADE TO RAMONA BONNESS VIA EMAIL AT RAMONA.BONNESS@VA.GOV.

AMENDMENT 1 is to correct the procurement authority.

Therefore, this solicitation is amended to correct authority for this procurement on page 9, paragraph 1.3. The solicitation page 9, paragraph 1.3. is replaced iwth the following:

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to procure Board Certified Anesthesiology Physician Services to be provided on-site at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center. The goal of this contract is to ensure that beneficiaries of the VA receive high-quality anesthesiology care in accordance with established standards and regulations.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide the following services:
- On-site anesthesiology services including pre-operative evaluations, administration of anesthesia during surgical and procedural cases, post-anesthesia care and monitoring, emergency and urgent anesthesia services.
- Continuous coverage by qualified anesthesiologists as scheduled by the VA.
- Compliance with all relevant VA policies, procedures, and federal regulations.
- Ensure all personnel are credentialed and privileged according to VHA directives.
- Maintain documentation of care in accordance with HIPAA and VA privacy regulations.
- Provide discharge education and follow-up instructions for patients.
- Participate in quality assurance measures such as patient satisfaction surveys and timely completion of medical records.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on April 1, 2026, and will continue through March 31, 2027.
