Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 07 (NCO 07) on behalf of the Atlanta VA Medical Center is soliciting proposals from contractors(Nursing Homes) in various counties throughout the geographical area of Altanta VAMC as the need arises. The VA anticipates awarding multiple Indefinite Delivery Contracts (IDC) under authority of 38 U.S.C. 1720. This is a competitive open and continuous Solicitation. Proposals will be evaluated for award on a periodic basis. be awarded within 30 days.

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 07 (NCO 07) is soliciting proposals from contractors (Nursing Homes) in various counties throughout the geographical area of Atlanta VAMC as the need arises. The VA anticipates awarding multiple Indefinite Delivery Contracts (IDC) under authority of 38 U.S.C. 1720. This is a competitive open and continuous Solicitation.

Work Details
The resulting Contract can be up to five years (i.e. one base year and four, one-year options). The Community Nursing Home (CNH) program is a key component of the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) continuum of care. The Contractor agrees to provide services stated herein to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Atlanta Health Care System, at the prices specified in the section titled Schedule of Items of this IDIQ.
Nursing home facilities in the CNH program shall cooperate with VA staff in referral of appropriate Veterans for care and accept Veterans of which they have the capability/capacity to care.

Period of Performance
The resulting Contract can be up to five years (i.e. one base year and four, one-year options).
