Background
The Department of Veteran Affairs, Network Contracting Office 16 (NCO 16), is issuing a solicitation for Community Nursing Home (CHN) Services for the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center (OBVAMC). This initiative aims to provide nursing home services to eligible veterans in the Louisiana, Arkansas, and East Texas catchment area. The contract will be awarded under the authority of 38 U.S.C. 1720 and will be a multiple award solicitation, promoting full and open competition.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing nursing home services to eligible veterans. This includes but is not limited to:
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to nursing home care.
- Delivering high-quality care that meets the needs of veterans in accordance with established standards.
- Coordinating with VA staff to ensure seamless service delivery and communication regarding patient care.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation as required by the VA.
- Adhering to wage determinations applicable to the contract, specifically Wage Determination 1973-0121 REV 61 dated 12/23/2024.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract will span multiple years, commencing from the award date and continuing through subsequent task orders as specified.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed in the Louisiana, Arkansas, and East Texas catchment area surrounding the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center.
