Description

Justification and Approval Notice
Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to establish a sole source Firm-Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Community Nursing Home (CNH) Services for the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center, Aurora, CO with Broomfield Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center LLC located in Broomfield, CO. The current contract will expire on January 31, 2024. The total estimated value of this contract is $25,286,147.00.

Work Details
The CNH will provide a facility and all services to support short- and long-term care for eligible Veterans. These services include rehabilitation, nursing, and clinical care as per the performance work statement (PWS).
The estimated period of performance will be February 1, 2024 through January 31, 2029. The contractor must review Medicare compare scores and provide a recommendation based on the current score.
The CNH Coordinator will review the Medicare compare score for Broomfield Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center LLC and determine if a waiver is required.

Period of Performance
The estimated period of performance will be February 1, 2024 through January 31, 2029.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Broomfield Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center LLC located in Broomfield, CO.
