SOLVET Sole Source Nurse Bridge Contract

Background
The Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (SLVHCS) in New Orleans, LA, is seeking to award a sole source contract for nursing services due to an ongoing protest affecting the award of a new long-term contract.
The current bridge contract is set to expire on December 31, 2025, and there is a need to ensure continuity of care for eligible beneficiaries.
Solvet Services, LLC, a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), is the only firm capable of providing these services immediately as their nurses are already credentialed.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide nursing services including:
- An estimated 25 Registered Nurses (RNs) for Medical-Surgical (Med Surg), Community Living Center (CLC), and Wound Care.
- An estimated 15 RNs for Dialysis, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Perioperative Care Unit (PCU)/Post Operative Care Unit (PACU), and Emergency Department (ED).
- An estimated 4 Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for CLC and Wound Care.
- An estimated 18 Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for Med-Surg, ICU, CLC, particularly during weekends, holidays, evenings, and night hours.
This short-term contract will be necessary to avoid any gap in service while awaiting the resolution of the protest regarding the new long-term contract.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this sole source contract will be from January 1, 2026, through March 31, 2026.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System located at 2400 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70119.
