Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 15, located at 3450 South 4th Street, Leavenworth, KS intends to enter into an indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract for Hemodialysis Services provided for Wichita, KS VAMC. The term of the contract is a base of one year with four one-year option periods. Solicitation documents are anticipated to be available June 20, 2025, or shortly thereafter and will be posted via the SAM.gov, Contract Opportunities website. This requirement is being solicited under the authority of FAR Part 13. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Prospective offerors should not expect notification of issuance of amendments other than via the SAM.gov website and are responsible for obtaining all amendments as posted. Prior to submission of a quotation, offerors are expected to read the solicitation documentation in its entirety to fully understand the scope of work, terms, and conditions of the requirement(s).

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 15, located in Leavenworth, KS, is seeking to establish an indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract for Hemodialysis Services at the Wichita, KS VAMC.

The primary goal of this contract is to provide essential dialysis services to veterans and beneficiaries of the VA. The contract will have a base term of one year with four additional one-year option periods.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide on-site acute and chronic hemodialysis services, including peritoneal dialysis services, to beneficiaries at the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center. Specific tasks include:
1. Providing all necessary healthcare resources, including registered nurses and dialysis equipment as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
2. Ensuring that all services meet or exceed national standards established by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
3. Maintaining a staffing plan that includes a minimum of two key personnel who are credentialed and available for scheduling.
4. Adhering to all relevant VA directives and policies regarding healthcare contracting and provider credentialing.
5. Conducting regular quality assurance measures and responding to patient care issues promptly.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the base contract will be one year starting from December 1, 2025, with options to extend for four additional one-year periods.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed on-site at the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center located at 5500 E. Kellogg Ave., Wichita, KS 67218.
