Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to procure Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) services to support the Lt. Col Luke Weathers Jr. Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) in Memphis, TN. The goal of this contract is to provide onsite patient care services that meet or exceed national standards, ensuring that veterans receive optimal health care and quality of life support.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide 19 Certified Nursing Assistants with the potential to increase to 25. Services include:
- Personal hygiene assistance (bathing, dressing)
- Meal assistance
- Lifting and moving patients
- Ambulation support
- Toileting assistance
- Sitter services.

Emergency requests for staff may be made with four hours' notice. CNAs must have one year of experience within the last three years and be U.S. citizens or provide proof of citizenship. Duties include documenting patient behavior and care every tour, reporting changes in patient status to nursing staff, and adhering to all applicable VA policies and regulations.

Period of Performance
The contract will be awarded for a period of five years from March 10, 2025, to March 9, 2030.
