Rocky Mountain Regional VAMC Immunohistochemical, Special Stain, Hematopathology, Genetic, Molecular, & Solid Tumor Reference Laboratory Services The Contractor should be able to provide a wide range of testing services as well as specialized laboratory testing including but not limited to immunohistochemical stains, special stains, diagnostic and prognostic markers for breast cancer prognosis to include interpretation, IHC breast assays, HER2 Profiling, Micrometastasis analysis, gastric cancer profile, molecular PCR pathway testing, mismatch repair (MMR/microsatellite instability (MSI), diagnostic and prognostic molecular testing for all types of malignancy and other specialty testing, on a cost per test basis. See Test Schedule (Attachment A: Minimum Tests Required) for the minimum test list. This list is not all inclusive. Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center (RMRVAMC) reserves the right to order any test provided by the Contractor.
Background
The Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center (RMRVAMC) is part of the Department of Veterans Affairs, which aims to provide high-quality healthcare services to veterans. The goal of this contract is to establish a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for Immunohistochemical, Special Stain, Hematopathology, Genetic, Molecular, and Solid Tumor Reference Laboratory Services. This agreement will streamline the acquisition of specialized laboratory testing services necessary for accurate diagnosis and treatment of various malignancies.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide a comprehensive range of laboratory testing services including but not limited to: immunohistochemical stains, special stains, diagnostic and prognostic markers for breast cancer prognosis (including interpretation), IHC breast assays, HER2 Profiling, Micrometastasis analysis, gastric cancer profile, molecular PCR pathway testing, mismatch repair (MMR/microsatellite instability (MSI), and other specialty testing on a cost per test basis.

The Contractor must perform all tests in-house without sending specimens to subcontractors to ensure sample integrity. Turnaround times are specified as follows:
- 2-5 days for stains;
- 7-14 days for molecular and specialized testing;
- 2-3 days for faxed diagnostic results;
- 2-5 days for returning patient specimens.

Performance will be monitored based on accuracy rates and turnaround times. The Contractor must be CLIA and CAP certified and provide a menu of available tests with defined turnaround times and specimen requirements.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2030.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center located at 1700 N Wheeling St., Aurora, CO 80045.
