Donor-Derived Cell Free DNA Testing Kits   2

Background
The James J. Peters Bronx VA Medical Center (JJP VAMC) is seeking comprehensive donor-derived cell-free DNA (dd-cfDNA) testing kits and laboratory services to support its Renal Transplant Program. The goal of this contract is to enhance post-transplant surveillance for kidney transplant recipients, ensuring timely detection of graft health issues and improving clinical decision-making.

Work Details
The contractor will provide end-to-end dd-cfDNA testing services, which include:

1. Provision of specimen collection kits;
2. Secure transport of specimens from JJP VAMC to the testing site within 48 hours;
3. Laboratory processing and analysis in a certified environment;
4. Delivery of test results within 72 hours of specimen receipt;
5. Training and clinical interpretation support for VA staff upon request.

The contractor must ensure compliance with HIPAA and other federal regulations, maintain confidentiality of patient information, and provide quality assurance measures throughout the testing process.

Period of Performance
The IDIQ Ordering Period shall be five (5) years, starting from the effective date.

Place of Performance
Laboratory testing and specimen processing will be performed at the Contractor’s facility, while specimen collection kits will be delivered to the James J. Peters VA Medical Center located at 130 W Kingsbridge Road, Bronx, NY 10468.
