Background
The G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center, part of the VISN 16 VA Healthcare Network, has a requirement for Durable/ Home Medical Equipment/Accessories (DME/HME) Services. The goal of this contract is to provide essential services including labor, facilities, pick-up and delivery, set-up, disassembly, storage, repairs, and inventory management of VA-owned equipment to eligible Veterans and their caregivers.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for:

1. Delivery and pick-up of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and Home Medical Equipment (HME), including set-up, assembly, take-down, disassembly, installation, instructions, sanitizing, repair, and maintenance.

2. Providing all necessary labor and facilities for the above tasks.

3. Ensuring that all services comply with the terms of the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

4. Conducting safety inspections and in-service training for Veterans on equipment functionality.

5. Maintaining detailed records for each Veteran regarding all items picked up and delivered.

6. Meeting The Joint Commission Standards or equivalent accreditation requirements throughout the contract duration.

Period of Performance
Base Period: August 29, 2025 – August 28, 2026; Order Periods extend annually through August 28, 2030.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center located at 1500 E Woodrow Wilson Dr., Jackson MS 39216 and its affiliated Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) across Mississippi.
