Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 4, 1010 Delafield Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15215-1802, intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed-Price Contract to Valor Healthcare Incorporated, for the provision of maintaining the existing services, operations, and Veteran Care for VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System for the following Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC): Beaver County CBOC. This requirement entails maintaining a short-term contract to ensuring veteran care by the incumbent contractor pending the beginning operations of a Government-leased and operated CBOC facility. The anticipated sole source contract may include options but will not extend beyond 18 months (twelve months and potential options IAW FAR 52.217-8 [as required]). This contract action is for services for which the Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the procedures in FAR 13.5 used in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 1901. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 621498 with a small business size standard of $12.5 Million. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. Responsible sources may identify their interest by submitting capability information by 5:30 P.M., EST, on Tuesday, June 03, 2025, in order to establish the ability of the source to meet this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this notification.
