Family Medicine & Internal Medicine Physician Services VA San Diego Healthcare System

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs San Diego Healthcare System requires On-Site Board-Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician and Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine Physician Services. The contract is issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs, and the goal of the contract is to provide comprehensive primary care for veterans, meeting or exceeding currently recognized national standards.

Work Details
The Contractor shall furnish all personnel to provide services necessary to perform onsite Family Medicine and Internal Medicine Physician Services to eligible beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, VA San Diego Healthcare System. The services include coordinating all aspects of care for VASDHS Primary Care Service patients, providing comprehensive Primary Care for Veterans, and managing a panel of primary care patients during this assignment.

The Contractor shall propose a minimum of Six (6) key personnel to be credentialed (3 Family Medicine Physicians and 3 Internal Medicine Physicians) and be available for scheduling to meet the requirements of the contract. The period of performance is estimated from January 15, 2023, to January 14, 2028.

Place of Performance
The services shall be provided on site at VA San Diego Healthcare System (VASDHS), 3350 La Jolla Village Drive, San Diego, CA 92161. Additionally, the Contractor shall provide services at other VASDHS facility locations including Kearny Mesa VA Clinic, Oceanside VA Clinic, Chula Vista VA Clinic, and Sorrento Valley VA Clinic.
