SPED Testing and Evaluation Service, Riverside

Background
The Bureau of Indian Education (BIE), under the Department of the Interior (DOI), is issuing this solicitation for Special Educational (SPED) Testing and Evaluation Services at Riverside Indian School, located in Anadarko, Oklahoma.

The goal of this contract is to provide necessary testing and evaluation services to ensure compliance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act of 2004 (IDEIA), which mandates that students with identified disabilities receive a free appropriate public education.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide Special Educational (SPED) Testing and Evaluation Services for Riverside Indian School. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing a State of Oklahoma Licensed Psychologist to conduct evaluations.
- Meeting with the RIS Special Education Coordinator and Point of Contact on the first day of work to organize service provisions and procedures.
- Coordinating testing schedules with RIS Special Education Teachers, Case Workers, and Government's POC.
- Conducting initial and re-evaluations including Psychometric, Psychoeducational, ADHD, and Autism Evaluations. Evaluations will involve cognitive assessments (WJ and CToni-2), academic assessments (WJ-Behavior Battery), and social/behavioral evaluations (BASC-3, SAED 3, ABAS E Beck Youth Inventory 2nd Edition, Conners Comprehensive Behavioral Rating Scales). The BASC-3 will only be utilized at the request of the student's caseworker.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence on July 1, 2025, and run through June 30, 2030, with specific evaluations scheduled annually from August to May each school year.
