Office of Wildland Fire Medical Qualification Determination Services IDIQ. See attachments for additional information.
Background
The Department of the Interior (DOI), Office of the Secretary (OS), Interior Business Center (IBC), Acquisition Services Directorate (AQD), is issuing this solicitation on behalf of its customer, the Office of Wildland Fire. The goal of this contract is to provide Medical Qualification Determination Services necessary for positions with specific medical standards and/or physical requirements as outlined in 5 CFR Part 339. This contract aims to ensure that personnel meet the required medical qualifications for their roles.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other necessary items and services to perform Medical Qualification Services. Key tasks include:

1. Conducting fitness-for-duty medical assessments.
2. Performing decentralized comprehensive medical exams.
3. Carrying out centralized, independent reviews of exam results against occupation-specific medical standards to determine if examinees meet these standards.
4. Ensuring all services comply with 5 CFR Part 339 and the Performance Work Statement.
5. Maintaining a good working relationship with government personnel, requiring cooperation and professionalism from contractor employees.
6. Ensuring all employees and subcontractors possess current professional certifications before commencing work under this contract.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is five years from the date of IDIQ award, specifically from November 22, 2024, to November 21, 2029.

Place of Performance
Services will be required in all U.S. states and territories.
