Background
The contract involves the purchase and installation of 192 Strand Fiber Optic cable. The vendor is required to provide the necessary hardware, personnel, supervision, materials, services, equipment, technical, logistics, and clerical support to perform the specified tasks.

Work Details
NETCOM is requesting installation of 192 Strand Fiber Optic cable from “Chateau Gendebien Chaussee De Binche/Rue Leon Save 32 7000 Mons” to “SHAPE Bunker, BLDG 185 Room A204 Avenue De Berlin 185/A204 7010 SHAPE”. The fiber must be rated G.656 or G.655. The vendor must provide any additional required ducting and utilize existing vendor-owned ducts and easement.
Additionally, the vendor is responsible for procuring and installing high-density patch panels at specified locations and terminating 192 strands of fiber optic cable with LC connectors on the front side of the patch panels.
End-to-end testing is required, including testing 192 strands of fiber optic cable end-to-end utilizing optical time-domain reflectometer (OTDR) with insertion loss measurement (ILM) and providing all trace documentation and validating measurements within customer “TIA/EIA Tier 2 ISO.IEC Extended” standard.

Period of Performance
The period of performance of this contract will be between 1 AUG 2023 and 30 SEP 2023.

Place of Performance
The installation and delivery will take place from “Chateau Gendebien Chaussee De Binche/Rue Leon Save 32 7000 Mons” to “SHAPE Bunker, BLDG 185 Room A204 Avenue De Berlin 185/A204 7010 SHAPE”.
