Purchase and Install of Multiple Components on a 2024 Chevrolet K4500

Background
The General Services Administration (GSA) is issuing this solicitation for the purchase and installation of multiple components on a 2024 Chevrolet K4500. The GSA's mission is to provide centralized procurement for the federal government, ensuring that agencies have the necessary tools and equipment to operate efficiently.

This contract aims to enhance the operational capabilities of GSA vehicles by equipping them with specialized systems that comply with industry standards and regulations.

Work Details
The contract requires the supply and installation of the following components:
1. A Non-Brand Specific Highway-Railroad (Hi-Rail) gear system, which includes:
- Front and rear assemblies
- Vehicle cab controls
- All required mounting hardware suitable for the specified truck chassis class.
2. A dedicated auxiliary air compressor system, which includes:
- Dedicated reservoir tank
- Lines
- In-cab pressure monitoring, specifically engineered to actuate the front rail-gear brake system.

All equipment must be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, and all items shall include standard warranty provisions.

Period of Performance
Delivery shall be completed no later than 120 days after receipt of order (ARO).

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must comply with all EPA and OSHA standards and requirements. They must also provide Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and any other required documents on site. Vendors are required to be properly insured to cover any losses for GSA vehicles in their shop. A valid business license is required in accordance with state and local guidelines.

Additionally, all employees of the selected vendor must be paid in accordance with local Department of Labor established wages.
