Description

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Tactical Technology Office (TTO) is sponsoring an Industry Day to provide information to potential proposers on the objectives of the Pulling Guard program in advance of a planned Broad Agency Announcement (BAA).
Background
The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Tactical Technology Office (TTO) is sponsoring an Industry Day to provide information to potential proposers on the objectives of the Pulling Guard program in advance of a planned Broad Agency Announcement (BAA).

The goal of the Pulling Guard program is to develop and demonstrate a semi-autonomous platform that enhances the survivability of unarmed logistics vessels from potential threats, primarily uncrewed surface vehicles (USVs).

Work Details
The Industry Day will include overview presentations by government personnel and information sessions to respond to questions from participants.

Potential proposers can request a Program Overview brief via DARPA-SN-25-08, which will address the scope and shape attendance.

The Pulling Guard program focuses on integrating and marinizing existing sensors and effectors on a vehicle, emphasizing modularity in both software and hardware.

The program is notionally planned for two phases: Phase 1 covering Development (18 months) with multiple performers for platform development and sensor/kill chain development; Phase 2 focusing on Integration, Manufacturing, and Commercial Transition (21 months) with a reduced number of performers from Phase 1.

The program aims for resilient software that starts secure, utilizing formal methods for software production.

Period of Performance
The Development Phase is planned for 18 months, followed by a second phase focused on Integration, Manufacturing, and Commercial Transition lasting 21 months.

Place of Performance
The Industry Day will be held at the Amentum Services Conference Center, 4121 Wilson Blvd, Suite 200, Arlington, VA 22203.
