Original Post-The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for janitorial and grounds maintenance services at multiple facilities in Puerto Rico.

This is a firm-fixed price (FFP) procurement with a period of performance of 12/01/2024 to 11/30/2025 plus 4 option periods.

Proposals will be evaluated on a tiered basis. See SA56 for details.

There will be a site visit that will span three days to access all sites. The site visit will be limited to one per prospective offeror and pre-registration is mandatory. The site visit is not mandatory but is highly advised.

Background
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for janitorial and grounds maintenance services at multiple facilities in Puerto Rico. This firm-fixed price (FFP) procurement aims to ensure cleanliness and maintenance of FAA facilities, supporting the agency's mission to provide the safest, most efficient aerospace system in the world.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all personnel, material, supplies, supervision, and transportation to perform janitorial and grounds maintenance services at FAA facilities in Puerto Rico. Specific tasks include:

1. Waste/recycle receptacles management;
2. Policing grounds;
3. Surface dusting and cleaning;
4. Cleaning windows and window coverings;
5. Maintenance of carpeted floors, tiles, rugs, and mats;
6. Maintenance of uncarpeted floors;
7. Cleaning stairwells, elevators, and handicap lifts;
8. Cleaning restrooms, showers, and locker rooms;
9. Maintenance of drinking fountains;
10. Cleaning lactation rooms, kitchen areas, breakrooms, and queue lines;
11. Maintenance of wellness centers;
12. Operational areas cleaning;
13. Handling blood and bodily fluids as necessary.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from December 1, 2024 to November 30, 2025 with four additional option periods available.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at multiple FAA sites located in Puerto Rico.
