Background
The U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) is seeking to contract a service provider to deliver continuous security, surveillance, and protection for its facility located in Pueblo, Colorado.

The mission of this contract is to ensure the safeguarding of secure credentials against unauthorized access, theft, sabotage, or compromise. The contractor will be responsible for operating a uniform protective security force that deters illegal activities and protects GPO employees, visitors, and property.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide management, supervisory, administrative, professional, and technically trained personnel necessary for routine and emergency protective services. Key tasks include:
1. Operating a uniform protective security force at the GPO facility;
2. Providing armed security guards for access control, traffic control, and surveillance;
3. Maintaining a vehicle patrol service;
4. Staffing various posts including external deterrent posts and internal patrols;
5. Conducting continuous assessments to identify security weaknesses;
6. Training Special Police Officers (SPOs) to meet industry standards;
7. Responding to emergencies with appropriate staffing adjustments;
8. Ensuring compliance with Colorado laws and GPO regulations.

The contract will be performed at the U.S. Government Publishing Office facility located at 31700 Excellence Ave., Pueblo, Colorado 81001.
