This Solicitation replaces AG-63PX-S-15-0007
The Northern Research Station requires publication production services, including editing, proofreading and other quality control, consultation with the author to revise a manuscript, consultation with the editorial staff on style issues, preparing files for layout, and other related assignments. This solicitation will result in multiple-award-Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) (also known as a Task Order) Contracts. Individual task orders with actual quantities will be competed. Multiple awards up to four may be issued. This is a performance based service contract spanning five years (one base and four option years)
In general, documents and publications covered by this contract will be prepared with the reader in mind, generally, within the following parameters:

1. Subject Matter. Topics include technical/scientific administrative and management, morale and incentive, professional development and recruiting support, and budget and program planning.

2. Audience. The type of audience may be specified on the Task Order and may range from high school graduate and general public to top-level management in administrative, technical, and scientific fields or to Congressional Committees and Executive Staff.

3. Methods. The format and style, techniques and method of presentation shall be constant with Forest Service standards, guides, styles, practices, type of production planned, and with the particular audience identified. Total small business set-aside. Prospective contractors should self-register to receive email notification of postings concerning this project. Telephone requests will not be honored. ALL QUIESTIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING via email. Email all questions to mikeash@fs.fed.us. All questions must be emailed by the 10:00 AM (central) on November 30th, 2015. Response date deadline to submit proposals is 12/07/2015 at 2:00 PM (central). Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management(SAM). SAM is the Official U.S. Government system that consolidated the capabilities of CCR/FedReg, ORCA, and EPLS. There is NO fee to register for this site.
