Description

The Embassy of the United States in Paris, France, is releasing a solicitation for the entire replacement of ADA Toilets in a U.S Mission Building in Paris, France. The Government intends to award the contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price contract. All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register at the earliest stage. The Embassy of the United States in Paris, France, is seeking contractors for the complete renovation of ADA toilets at the U.S. Consulate located at 4 Avenue Gabriel, 75008 Paris. The goal of this contract is to ensure compliance with accessibility standards while maintaining the functionality and aesthetics of the facility. The contract will be awarded to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is deemed responsible.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
1. **General Requirements**: The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the renovation as per specifications and drawings.

2. **Site Installation**: Installation of floor protection and dust dispersion prevention measures.

3. **Demolition**: Renovation will occur one toilet at a time. Tasks include:
- Removal and storage of existing changing tables, paper dispensers, trash cans, grab bars, hand dryers, light fixtures, faucets, sinks/countertops, toilets, wall and floor ceramic tiles.
- Proper disposal of debris away from the property.

4. **Installation**: Installation of new ADA-compliant fixtures including handles and engraved plates indicating ADA compliance.

5. **Safety Compliance**: Adherence to EM-385-1-1 safety requirements and local French occupational safety laws. A safety and health protection plan must be submitted prior to work commencement.

Period of Performance
The contractor must begin work within 30 calendar days after receiving the award and complete all tasks within 50 calendar days after notice to proceed.
