PTAG SSJ– USPTO Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Support Services   2

Background
The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), specifically the Office of Human Resources (OHR) and the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Division, has an urgent requirement to continue providing expert-level HRIS support services. This action is justified as a sole source under the authority of 35 U.S.C. 2(b)(4)(A) due to the reasonable expectation that no other company can perform the required work or provide the necessary supplies.

Work Details
The HRIS Support Services will provide expert-level support for the Human Resource (HR) Connect solution and other enterprise-wide human capital solutions. The services aim to sustain, improve, and maximize USPTO's use of automated human capital solutions. Responsibilities include maintaining and improving ongoing operations related to HR solutions, as well as providing advice and guidance on new HRConnect functionalities and supplemental HR systems that enhance the HRIS function.

The contract will include five contract line items (CLINs)/labor categories per year: 1) Team Lead, 2) Consultant—HR Connect, 3) HR Connect Tier 1 Support, and 4) Website Administration.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance consists of a twelve-month base period followed by four twelve-month option periods.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the United States Patent and Trademark Office located in Alexandria, VA.
