Description

This fixed-price contract is for batteries used to power the Premature Stage Separation System in Minuteman III ICBM Weapon System and was not awarded competitively. The rationale for the contract type was to reduce administrative overhead. IAW FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii) lack of technical data and prohibitive and/or unrecoverable reverse engineering costs necessitate only one responsible source satisfying agency requirements.
