PSO Services throughout Brooklyn, Long Island, and Staten Island, NY

Background
The US Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Protective Service (FPS) has a requirement to acquire armed Protective Security Officer (PSO) services at various locations throughout Brooklyn, Long Island and Staten Island, NY. The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, management, supervision, training, licenses, and permits to provide the services in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). This acquisition is being solicited under a small business set aside. Resultant task orders under this contract will be firm fixed prices. The source selection process to be utilized for this acquisition is best value/trade-off. The technical, non-price factors, when combined, are more important than price.

Work Details
Synopsis for Protective Security Officer (PSO) Services at various locations in Brooklyn, Long Island and Staten Island, New York.
The estimated PSO service hours for Brooklyn, Long Island, and Staten Island are 1,039,500 for a 66-month period, this includes the optional 6-month extension.
The submission requirements and evaluation criteria will be defined in the solicitation.

Period of Performance
The Period of Performance is for a one-year base period with four one-year option periods and an optional 6-month extension. Services shall be furnished via an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract.

The geographic location(s) the contract will be performed: Brooklyn, Long Island and Staten Island, New York.
