Solicitation for the procurement of Industrial Gases for the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, TRF Bangor, and Naval Station Everett & IMF. Maintenance operations. This requirement will be solicited on an unrestricted basis using the commercial item procedures in FAR Parts 12 and 13.5

The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price (FFP) indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract. The FOB will be DESTINATION

Puget Sound Naval Shipyard Bremerton, WA, TRF Bangor, WA, Naval Station Everett, WA.

The period of performance dates is projected. Dates will be adjusted at the time of the award. Requests to adjust during the solicitation phase will not be honored.

The completed solicitation MUST BE EMAILED TO THE BUYER. Any questions MUST BE EMAILED. NO FAX REQUESTS FOR THE RFQ PACKAGE WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render vendor offer non-responsive and result in rejection of the same.

FIRMS INTERESTED IN SUBMITTING PROPOSALS MUST: COMPLETE THE ENTIRE SOLICITATION DOCUMENT to include representations and certifications, provisions and clauses, provide all product technical specification documentation and technical compliance certifications, and ensure current registration in the SAM.

Background
The solicitation SPMYM2-25-Q-2017 is issued by the DLA Maritime Puget Sound for the procurement of Industrial Gases to support maintenance operations at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, TRF Bangor, and Naval Station Everett. The contractor will provide a broad range of bottled gases, bulk gases, and tank/equipment rentals delivered Just-in-Time to multiple sites within PSNS & IMF locations, including Bremerton, Bangor, and Everett. The contract type is a Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with a one-year base period and four one-year option periods. Key specifications include:
- Compliance with applicable standards such as MIL-STD 1411C for inspection and maintenance of compressed gas cylinders.
- Provision of Certificates of Analysis (COA) for gases upon delivery or upon request.
