Provide USFWS, AZ with professional waste stream characterization & analysis

The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS) requires the need to professionally sample, characterize and perform analysis of approximately 20 drums of unidentified materials at the Rob Roy mining site located on the Kofa National Wildlife Refuge, 9300 E 28th Street Yuma, AZ . This Scope of Work is requested to provide the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service with the professional waste stream characterization and analysis results from the various samples to be taken and performed at the Rob Roy mining site storage building. The materials in the said drums and containers are unknown and do not reflect a designation of regulated hazardous materials until the characterization and analysis has been performed. The contractor will send the samples taken to a lab for analysis to include but not limited to a full TCLP, pH, ignitability, reactive sulfides, and reactive cyanides. Once sample results and analysis are received by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, proper removal of all materials located in the Rob Roy mining site will be contracted performed at a later date. The contractor will provide documentation for all drums and containers where characterization and sampling were performed. Characterization and analysis profiles will be forwarded to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The contractor will provide all sampling media for the unknown material characterization. All monitoring equipment, personal protective equipment will be the responsibility of the contractor. As such the contractor assumes all liability for the characterization that is to be performed.
