Provide services for Overhang repairs of Annex building   2

Background
The contract is issued by the United States Government (USG) for the purpose of repairing deteriorated concrete overhangs at the Annex Building located in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi.

The goal of this contract is to restore the structural integrity and aesthetic appearance of the building's overhangs, which have suffered damage due to environmental factors.

Work Details
The project involves repairing 20% of a total area of 15,000 square feet of concrete overhangs (approximately 3,000 square feet). Key tasks include:

1. Site Preparation: Mobilizing equipment and personnel, securing the work area with safety barriers.
2. Scaffolding: Designing and erecting scaffolding as per certified structural engineer specifications, ensuring third-party inspection and certification.
3. Surface Preparation: Removing loose or deteriorated concrete, cleaning surfaces, and conducting tap tests for integrity assessment.
4. Repair & Plastering: Applying bonding agents and polymer-modified cement mortar to patch damaged areas, followed by proper curing.
5. Finishing/Painting: Applying weather-resistant paint and an anti-carbonation protective coating to all repaired surfaces.
6. Dismantling & Cleanup: Carefully dismantling scaffolding post-completion and cleaning the site according to local regulations.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a timeline of 60 days from the start date.

Chanakyapuri, New Delhi.

Bidder Requirements
Contractors must provide names and government photo IDs for all workers for site security access. They are required to have experience in similar construction projects and must adhere to safety regulations including EM 385-1-1 (USACE Safety) standards, as well as obtaining necessary permits such as Hot Work Permits.
