Background
The US Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Protective Service (FPS) is seeking to acquire armed Protective Security Officer (PSO) services throughout Los Angeles, CA and surrounding areas.

The goal of this contract is to ensure the protection of federal personnel and property at federally owned and leased buildings.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, management, supervision, training, licenses, and permits necessary to deliver the armed PSO services as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW).

The services will be provided under an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with fixed hourly rates. The estimated PSO hours for the Los Angeles area is approximately 4,976,884 hours over a 60-month period. Task orders resulting from this contract will be firm fixed prices.

Period of Performance
The contract includes a one-year base period with four one-year option periods and an optional 6-month extension.
