Protective Security Officer (PSO) services and Technical and Support positions at Plum Island Animal Disease Center (PIADC)

Background
The US Department of Homeland Security (DHS), National Protection and Programs Directorate (NPPD), Federal Protective Service (FPS) has a requirement to acquire armed Protective Security Officer (PSO) services and Technical and Support positions at Plum Island Animal Disease Center (PIADC), 40550 Route 25, Orient Point, NY. The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, management, supervision, training, licenses, and permits to provide the services as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW). This acquisition is being solicited under a small business set aside.

Work Details
The Contractor is required to register with the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov. A Secret clearance is required prior to the date and time established for PSOs to begin standing posts. A Pre-Solicitation conference at the site will be held at a date and time to be determined. Information to be provided prior to the site visit will include Company name, Attendee’s Full name and US Citizenship status and Origin of Country. Only two (2) representatives from your company may attend the conference.
It is strongly encouraged that only serious offerors attend the site visit and submit proposals for this requirement.

Period of Performance
The Period of Performance is for a one-year base period with four one-year option periods and an optional 6 month extension.
